Priyanka agree to get into swimsuit for Karan Johar's romantic comedy Dostana

Although Priyanka Chopra had decided not to do a lip lock or don a bikini on screen, she has agreed to get into a swimsuit for Karan Johar's romantic comedy Dostana.

"Karan Johar didn't ask me to wear a bikini. But this is a beach movie. So it's only natural that I get into beachwear. And I don't mind at all. Because everyone else will be wearing even tinier clothes," said Priyanka.

The Bollywood beauty says she had a ball with co-stars Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham.
"I've worked with Abhishek and John before. But never like this. Their bonding is infectious. Dostana was one big party. It's a beachside sporty film. And I'm very much a water babe.

"The director Tarun Mansukhani's is new but his wit sparkles. He's written a really urbane tongue-in-cheek comedy."

Priyanka can't stop raving about the new love in her life. "No, his name isn't Harman Baweja. It's someone called Boo, a pet robot teddy bear who accompanies me everywhere in Love Story 2050. He's all pink and the cutest creature on earth. I want to take him home."

She added: "I was aware of Boo from the time he was conceived. It was Harman's sister Rowena who thought of Boo. I've watched Boo acquire a life right in front of me. So it's quite an exciting process."

So attached has Priyanka become to Boo that she wanted to carry him home after the shooting. And the Bawejas (Harry and Harman) who've watched Priyanka stand by their project from the time Kareena Kapoor opted out were only too happy to let her have Boo. "This was one film that's filled with gadgets and electronic toys. But Boo is special because he is mine."

Talking about her stint with sci-fi films, she said: "Love Story 2050 is my second hi-tech film after Krrish. And I'm doing one more, Drona. But Love Story was special because I did my career's first double role with two different looks for the two halves set in two different periods. Boo was part of my futuristic look."

"When FX turned a corner with Krrish, I was part of it. Now when it somersaults with Love Story 2050 and Drona I'm part of both. Am I proud to be in these projects, or not?"

Kareena kisses Stallone, enrages Saif

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have fought again. And this time it's not over mere dresses or such trivialities but a very important 'kiss'.

Mid-Day reports that Bebo who's been shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakht Ishq in Los Angeles apparently kissed co-star Sylvester Stallone. And all this, after a scene where the Hollywood star rescues our babe.

A source from the unit told the paper, "Saif was happy to hang around the sets till July 18, Stallone's first day on the set. Kareena behaved like an excited little schoolgirl around the action superstar and that irritated Saif."

But after the scene, when Bebo threw her arm and planted a kiss on Stallone's cheek, Saif Ali Khan was enraged. It's also not clear whether the kiss was part of the script. Saif apparently sat around the sets without exchanging a single word with his lady love. The only conversation he had was with Akshay Kumar and Sabir Khan. The informer added, "Saif looked visibly upset after seeing the kiss."

After the scene, Saif took Kareena to a corner where they were heard yelling at each other. According to the source, "Kareena got so irritated, she snapped at him saying, he shouldn't come to her sets if he can't handle her intimate scenes with other actors."

Incidentally, even after all this, Bollywood's most exhibitionist couple patched up. Bebo's good friend Amrita Rao who was also on the sets was seen calming her down after Saif left the sets in a huff. Later that evening the lovers were even seen dining together and whispering sweet nothings to each other.

Is love today different from what it was in the past when lovers like Laila-Majnu or Romeo-Juliet perished in each other’s arms? Today, in the age of online romance and one-night stands, many would say love is just a whirlwind. But no! ‘Love Aaj Kal’ will have you believe that certain things don’t change with the passage of time.

The movie, directed by Imtiaz Ali , stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone as lovers in different time periods.

LOVE AAJ: London, San Francisco, Delhi - 2009.
Jai and Meera are a modern-day couple in London. They are very happy together but do not believe in tying each other down. So when life pulls them in different directions, they decide to go with the flow. "These Heer-Ranjha, Romeo-Juliet type janam janam ka saath type couples exist only in story books," Jai says. In the real life, we have to be practical.

LOVE KAL: Delhi, Calcutta - 1965.
Veer Singh is struck by a thunderbolt when he sees Harleen for the first time. Soon after, he stands under a tree and swears that "is janam mein aur har janam mein... yehi meri votti banegi - Harleen Kaur." He travels a thousand kilometers by train to stand under her balcony only to have a glimpse of her face. And yet not speak a word with her.

Love Aaj Kal:
Veer does not understand how Jai can treat matters of the heart without passion, like a financial transaction. Jai does not understand how Veer Singh could have been so naïve and silly about Harleen in the days of his youth. But as both stories unfold, we realize that the process of relationship might be different in different eras, but the experience of being in love remains the same. So there is the frolic and despair of modern living, the liberation and confusion. And there is the past - the times of innocence and compulsion. And there is distance, and the fondness that increases with distance. Gaps widen between two people, but bridges keep growing too.

‘Love Aaj Kal’ marks the birth of production house Illuminati Films, owned by Saif Ali Khan and partner Dinesh Vijan. Sunil Lilla is the co-producer.

The movie also stars Rishi Kapoor , Neetu Singh and Rahul Khanna in significant roles. There’s also a cameo by a British model named Florence.

‘Love Aaj Kal’ has music by Pritam and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

The film is set to release on July 31.

A love story that crosses borders and linguistic barriers, Kites is a tale of romance between an Indian guy and a Mexican beauty.

Starring Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori in lead roles, the movie is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan .

Kites is about an Indian boy’s romantic affair with a Latino girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other’s language.

Hrithik plays a salsa teacher in "Kites". Kangana plays a very rich girl and is shown as Hrithik’s dance student. The story is set in Las Vegas. In the course of learning Salsa from him, she falls madly in love with him. But then a twist in the tale takes place and the romantic story takes a thriller turn.

Barbara Mori plays a Spanish girl who speaks only in Spanish which Hrithik can’t speak a word of. So he speaks to her in Hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love. But then something happens that forces the two to split and that’s where Kangana steps in.

The film has some breath-taking dances from Hrithik, Barbara and Kangana. The choreography in these songs is by Flexy Stu, a renowned American choreographer. For one song shot in Mumbai, Farah Khan did the choreography.

Synopsis:
‘Victory’ is the story of a father, Ram Shekhawat (Anupam Kher), who saw an impossible dream for his son, the dream of making his son a famous cricketer. This is also the heroic dream of his son Vijay Shekhawat (Harman).

Hailing from the small town of Jaisalmer, Vijay Shekhawat becomes India’s latest world-class batting sensation and is catapulted into stardom. But it is the glamour and glitter of this very demi-God status that makes the young, vulnerable small-town boy Vijay stray away from the true vocation of cricket. Unfortunately, this leads to a loss of focus and to a miserable drop in his

performance. But by the time Vijay realizes the error of his ways, it is too late. Vijay finds himself thrown out of the Indian cricket team because of disciplinary reasons.In one fell swoop, the hero of the cricket-crazy India becomes a villain in everyone’s eyes. His father Ram Shekhawat’s dreams are shattered and the old man suffers a paralytic stroke.

This tragedy awakens Vijay’s conscience and his sense of honour. He wants to redeem himself in the eyes of his father and every Indian.
